About the Course
Tajweed, meaning "to improve" or "to make better," is the set of rules governing the correct pronunciation of the Quran. This course provides comprehensive instruction in Tajweed principles, enabling students to recite the Quran as it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Our qualified teachers provide detailed feedback and practical application exercises.
Course Levels
Beginner Level (Months 1-3):
- Introduction to Tajweed - Importance and objectives
- Makharij (Articulation points) of all Arabic letters
- Basic rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween
- Rules of Meem Sakinah
- Qalqalah (Echoing sounds)
Intermediate Level (Months 4-6):
- Advanced Makharij and Sifaat (Characteristics of letters)
- Madd (Prolongation) rules - All types and applications
- Rules of stopping (Waqf) and starting (Ibtida)
- Practical application in selected Surahs
Advanced Level (Months 7-12):
- Complete Quran recitation with full Tajweed application
- Mastery of complex Tajweed rules
- Different Qira'at (recitation styles) introduction
- Ijazah preparation (optional)
